28 years. That is really something else. I find it touching that you are still together because it has become all too common in my culture for people more often than not to get divorced. I have a friend from high school that is on his 4th marriage and I just wonder why people even bother to get married at that point.

Another friend of mine that lives here in Vietnam was married for just 8 months and this was after being in a relationship with the guy for 4 years prior to that.... what changed?

Oh, thank you for your loving upvote @gooddream. I like your hive alias... Gooddream. I had a dream the other night though, I was chased by a big white snake even when I went inside a room, funny that the door has a big gap underneath it so the head of the snake can still fit in... I kept hitting it with a carton box that I found inside the room..then it went away after that I saw a small again white snake coiling and wants to bite me, of course I have to fight back but sad to say my hand was bitten..... Then I woke up!!!!,🥶🥶🥶

What a strange dream , my first time ever. I was so bothered by it, I searched the internet about what could be the meaning of my dream..... It all says that dreaming of a white snake is good specially if a person is bitten in the dream for that person will win the lottery!!!! Whaaaaaaat!! Haha! I have to try the lottery later so I guess we'll see if what they say is true..... I will definitely inform you @gooddream!🤭😍😍

I think you should definitely get a lottery ticket! I frequently dream about very strange things, almost every night in fact. That's not where my alias name comes from though. Maybe one day I will reveal why I call myself that :)

What changed???? I guess both of them have different goals and plans and love faded away. Specially if the two are so goal oriented. But I guess they are not really so sure on what they entered into, the commitment is not that deep.
Well, there are a lot of reasons though, first is the financial reason. If money is lacking in a relationship the sweetness the love will be replaced with problems, shallow and immature thinking overflows and outdates their bond for each other.
It takes a lot of work really, one has to support the other specially if he or she is down.
Faith in God also is needed to make a long lasting relationship.

I feel bad for your friends though. They need to set aside their Ego's and let love prevail.
