Morning at the Opera

in #architecture11 months ago

This was sometime back when a friend of mine visited me. We had some time in the morning so I thought of taking him for a nice cup of coffee to the Royal Opera. So that he could enjoy the coffee and also see the Opera. I have been here couple of times and yet I always enjoy coming here. This place is grand and luxurious. It just does not display the culture of this land but also speaks about the diversity that it has absorbed.

This place has fine architecture. It's built completely with very fine quality of marbles from all over the world. The ceilings are wooden finish with carvings on it. The first look of it makes you feel like you are visiting some Palace.

That's the stage. And this pipe organ is one of the largest in the middle east region

They have hydraulics system in many parts of this theatre, like the stage and the front seats, which can go up and down, the front box seats can move in and out and the stage can also be adjusted as per the requirement. Plays and concerts of all languages are held here and there is a translation system in the seat which gives option to translate it in different languages with English and Arabic being the main ones.

That's the ceiling.

It's a very sophisticated opera and worth a visit. After this visit we went to the cafe for a cup of coffee. My friend was charmed by the beauty of this place.

Thank you for visiting my blog. 👼🏻👼🏻💖💖🌹🌺🌸

The Royal Opera is such a magnificent place. At first, with the sky-high ceilings and general outlook, I thought it was a Church. Looks really beautiful and I would definitely want to visit it someday.

This place looks extremely beautiful. The structure and the architecture of the place is build amazingly. Just loved it...
