I'll tell you a few things that have happened in the garden over the past few days.
And the first thing you'll notice is that there are new plants. I think they keep arriving since I've been making videos about plants, and I really like it.
Well, it turns out some of Mom's students started following me on social media and have given her some plants.

One of them is this turmeric plant. It came in this small pot, which I think is lovely. So I decided to repot it so it would grow better, and leave this mini pot for some small succulents in the garden.

This one you see here is the temporary container for the turmeric plant. First, I need to prepare the soil for transplanting. Above all, I need to make sure cats stay away from the soil, otherwise they'll damage the plants again.

When there are too many plants, they grow everywhere 🌵
This is a lily I need to repot, and a cactus.
This cactus had grown in the ground, which made it quite large.
I temporarily placed this part with this lily while I get a new pot.
I've made recycled pots before, and I made a video about it on my YouTube channel. But they weren't enough. The truth about pots is that they're never enough; a good plant lover must have plenty of pots to plant.

Here are the other two parts of the cactus
It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to get more cacti. This species you see here is called the "fairy castle cactus," precisely because it grows like a beautiful little castle.
I lost it for a while, and then I got one back. Otherwise, I'd have a cactus that lasted for years, and maybe I could enjoy some of its flowers.
This time, I feel like everything will be different. I plan to make my relationship with this cactus last a very long time because I'm going to take at least one with me everywhere I go.
So, everyone, get ready! This girl won't let go of her cactus until she sees it bloom. Nor after that.

🍅 But it's not all about ornamental plants
I'm slowly getting back to gardening.
I have good news for you about this. My dog is behaving better now, so we're really good friends. He accompanies me everywhere and takes care of the plants with me.
I feel like he's learned that I love my plants, and that it really hurts me when they have a bad time.
On the other hand, it's been hard for me to teach my cats not to mess them up, so I put up netting, sticks, and everything else I can to prevent them from seeing them as an attractive place for feline fun.
Here in the picture are two capsules that will help me germinate tomato and chili seeds in the hot climate of Anzoátegui.

I'm also propagating some plants
Here's a beautiful succulent called "African dragon eye." In the first photo, you'll see the mother plants. And in the second photo, the daughter plants.
I cut some off due to overwatering. Some cuttings were even falling out of the pot.
Others, I simply cut and let the wound dry for a couple of days. This ensures it doesn't rot and produces good roots.
Afterward, I transplant them into the container shown in the second photo.
I hope they'll soon be as radiant as the mother plants; it's just a matter of waiting a few days.

And finally: the beauty of flowers 🌸
In this first half of the year, I only have two colors of this beautiful flower called "beautiful at eleven."
As I told you, a friend gave me these yellow flowers, and recently my sister gave me the yogurt-colored ones (pink and white).
I have to tell you that I'm in love with seeing them this month, because they've bloomed every day, which makes me very happy.
Mom moved one of them to accompany the medicinal plants, and it was a really nice idea because it looks beautiful.
That's all for today, but...
There's still a lot to share. I hope to stop by @gardenhive again soon ❤️
