Pushcha-Vodytsia is a small cosy town near Kyiv.
This town is very photogenic, especially in autumn. It is so close that you can get there from Kyiv by tram, buying a regular ticket that costs 8 UAH (~ $0,13). After leaving Kyiv, the tram travels for several kilometres through a picturesque forest. It looks very photogenic - a red tram against a background of green (in summer) and green-yellow-red forest. These shots can be seen in many articles on recommendations for where to spend a day off.
In November 2024, the day finally came when all the necessary factors coincided: sunny weather, the weekend and my husband at home. I needed my husband for confidence. More about this in the next post (I plan to write 3 parts so stay tuned).
The section of the track that runs through the forest is quite long, but on a day like this you are almost certain to meet someone with a camera. 😀
So, we parked at the edge of the town and went to look for an angle. More precisely, I was looking for a photo spot, and my husband was just walking along.
Then we waited for the tram. The public transport app came in handy for this.
The first attempt was not bad. Although ... I can do better. 😅
There were many places we wanted to see, so we didn't stay here too long and went to explore the picturesque streets along the tram lines.
In November, daylight hours are short. We have worked up a good appetite. But before we went home, I went to the bend in the track once again to make another take.
That's it. Mission complete. Time to return.
End of Part 1
This is all for today. Hope you enjoyed it. 😉
