RE: Cuando alguien espera unos segundos más. Cosas pequeñas que me sostienen #23 por veramfund. [Esp/Eng]

Oh dear, I do not know how I became emotional over this post. And yours word hit me and almost took me down memory lane. It's true that sometimes the kindest gestures we experience come from people who know absolutely nothing about us.
They didn't have to be kind to us because they knew us or something but just because we are humans and they choose to show us kindness.

I'm happy to read that the driver considered you and waited. Where I come from, some people might see that as the driver just hustling or doing his work to get his money, but until one is at the point of an emergency, before one truly understands that sometimes it's not about the money, it's not about the value the other person is presenting but a simple act of kindness and consideration is what makes the world go round and someday it might eventually get to you.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful and thoughtful comment
I think that is exactly what touched me most about that experience: the driver had no obligation to wait. For him, it was probably only a few extra seconds, but for me, it meant much more than that.
I also agree with you that we often do not fully understand the value of these gestures until we find ourselves on the receiving end of them. That is when we realize how a small act of consideration can completely change the tone of an entire day.
I am happy that the post brought back some memories for you. I believe we all carry moments like these in our hearts—small acts of humanity that stay with us much longer than we expect.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for reading with such kindness. 🌷❤️

Yes you are right. And this was such a worthy read.
Glad to read from you, stay in touch and be safe
