Estaba con mucho calor y decidí prepararme un cóctel improvisado. No me quedó muy bueno, pero por lo menos lo intenté. ¿No les ha pasado que al inventar alguna receta o cóctel, por ser creado por una misma, les resulta muy sabroso y especial aunque no sea así? Pues en mi caso, ni me gustó tanto jajaja. En otras ocasiones me he puesto a inventar en la cocina.
Una vez, por ejemplo, intenté hacer unas empanadas con lo que encontré en la nevera… y aunque el relleno fue una mezcla muy extraña, ¡me las comí con gusto solo por no perder el esfuerzo! Creo que la cocina tiene eso: nos permite crear, equivocarnos y aún así disfrutar el momento. A veces salen recetas maravillosas y otras veces… bueno, mejor ni recordarlas.
Pero lo lindo es que cada intento es una experiencia, y hasta las recetas fallidas se vuelven recuerdos divertidos. Quizás algún día me anime a anotar los “experimentos” que sí me salen bien, por si acaso algún alma valiente se atreve a probarlos. Mientras tanto, seguiré inventando con lo que haya y riéndome de los resultados.
It was very hot, so I decided to make an impromptu cocktail. It wasn't very good, but at least I tried. Have you ever invented a recipe or cocktail, and because you created it yourself, it turns out really tasty and special, even if it wasn't exactly the case? Well, in my case, I didn't even like it that much, haha. On other occasions, I've started inventing things in the kitchen.
Once, for example, I tried making empanadas with whatever I found in the fridge... and even though the filling was a very strange mixture, I ate them with gusto just to make the effort! I think that's what cooking does: it allows us to create, make mistakes, and still enjoy the moment. Sometimes we come up with wonderful recipes, and other times... well, it's better not to even remember them.
But the beautiful thing is that every attempt is an experience, and even failed recipes become fun memories. Maybe one day I'll get around to writing down the "experiments" that turn out well, just in case some brave soul dares to try them. In the meantime, I'll keep inventing with whatever I have and laughing at the results.
