That one skill

in Hive Learners21 days ago

A little true life story before I dive into the topic of discussion. So, in the early part of this year, I've been meaning to add another skill to the one I have, which is "hairdressing"; my head keeps flooding with the different skills that I can actually get, but then I really haven't decided on the particular one.

So one fateful day, I decided to visit YouTube because they say it is the easiest place to learn a skill from as a beginner. For you to know the basics before enrolling in the physical practice. So I followed the different pages that have the term makeup on them, and I ensured to follow every procedure and pattern. At some point, I started getting the materials needed because I really wanted this skill, not for the sake of getting clients and generating funds from it, at least for the sake of getting my makeup done without spending a fortune on it.

I followed the online tutorial for quite some months, but then I noticed that after the tutorial and in the process of putting into practice the things I've learnt, "it became a bit difficult." I noticed I was doing something else instead of the normal makeup tutorial I've been watching. So I decided to give it a break till I make up my mind fully to learn it again.

Currently, there is a whole list of skills I want to learn. "I don't know if I'm doing too much, though." But then, like I said earlier, I have a whole lot on my list, and then the good news is that the list keeps adding up. So if there is any skill I would learn now that will take a month "I would go for a soft skill like mastering the accounting software called SAGE".

For the past few months, I've been thinking of learning the accounting software SAGE. It's one skill that has been flooding my head, and it keeps telling me "you have to learn me" no matter how hard I try to decline that thought in my head, it keeps coming back in like it's forcing its way into my life. I see that as a great opportunity that is gonna elevate me in my career and put me out on the edge.

So if I could learn one skill with all finances provided, it would be "SAGE", and come to think of it, when are the finances coming up so I can start my career in the accounting software? Accounting has been something that I'm passionate about. I feel like it builds something inside of me. Whenever I'm punching that calculator and getting those figures right, it makes me feel excited, and I feel super proud of myself to the point that I feel fulfilled.

And I also believe a month can be enough for me to master SAGE, "I don't know if it's realistic," but then I believe with determination I can achieve whatever I want to.
