My Journey to Web3 — ArchonApp

Firstly, I'm gonna consider myself a lucky person for being born in this era where technology keeps making progress every single day.

Some years back, after graduating from the university, I was seeking means to get into web3 and kick start my journey by making some money to support myself for the time being if not forever. Then a friend of mine introduced me to Ethereum, I wasn't well equipped with the materials needed then, so I didn't really pay much attention to it; rather, I decided to focus my attention elsewhere.

One fateful day, I got a message on my phone and decided to go through and see what it was all about. To my surprise, it was my cousin telling me about another web3 platform that pays but all I need to do is to put in my consistency and effort game in place. He started preaching to me that he doesn't have a 9-5 job, but then he still sustains himself financially.

That last statement bust my bubbles and I was eager in getting to know about this platform more then he mentioned ''hive" to me. In his words, I quote "this is a writing where you get to write about anything" then I replied him "I'm not a writer" and he continued "he don't need to be a professional writer to be on the blockchain".

That moment I became speechless and didn't know the next words to utter and decided to give "hive" a try, and I'm not gonna lie, that decision I made is one of the best decisions I've ever made in my lifetime. Then I got my account created, and it was time to kick-start this journey.

The first few moments weren't easy. I felt like I wasn't good enough to be on the blockchain, but then web3 is a place where everyone can call "home", a place where no one is judged for their thoughts, religion, and so on. The Hive blockchain had a great culture.

After a while, I decided not to just write on the blockchain but also engage and improve my writing skill because I'm not a born writer and all I can do is to learn how to grow in that field that I have chosen. Hive became my main hustle, it has shaped my financial life and made it more stable, and I'm super grateful for that.

This is one journey that I don't want to end, forever is the goal.

I will say it is a good hunger and thirst you really have. The fact that you have that hunger to learn about web3 now, this is good because in the next few years, web3 will dominate the world and most especially the digital space. I also personally am doing my best to keep learning more about web3
