Adornando el Árbol de Navidad/Decorating the Christmas Tree [ESP/ENG]

Como es de costumbre en mi familia la navidad comenzamos armarla antes del 12 de noviembre ya que como había comentado una vez es mi cumpleaños así que mis padres para esa fecha si o si les gustaba tener todo, árbol, pesebre y decoraciones, era algo fijo, y en mi caso trate de mantenerlo así, pero en esta ocasión ocurrieron algunos acontecimientos que impidieron ello ya que antes de esa fecha bueno se me presento dificultades en el trabajo que me impidieron en conjunto con mi hermana lograr armar algo de la navidad.

Luego en la fecha de mi cumpleaños mi mamá tuvo una crisis la cual le genero convulsiones, por tal motivo bueno la motivación bajo un poco, estuve al pendiente de ella para que se estabilizara, luego me imagino que porque el mismo estrés y susto que pasamos se me bajo la defensas y caí enferma, al principio no fue fuerte, pero a los días cayo mi hijo con fiebre y malestar general, después mi hermana, mi mamá también y por ende yo también, aunque a mí me pego algo más fuerte que me tumbo en cama, gracias a Dios me recuperé rápido a igual que el resto, nos quedo fue todavía la tos, que ya al menos es esporádica, pero a raíz de todo ello se atrasó más y más tanto las cosas del hogar para limpiar como armar lo de la navidad.

Así que poco a poco decidimos avanzar con sacando las cosas, si o si pensé que al menos para el árbol tenía que tenerlo listo, sobre todo porque mi hijo quería para poder poner la carta del niño Jesús ahí, él me decía que sin al menos el árbol no estaba no le iba a traer regalos jeje entonces sí o sí tratamos de armarlo como fuese para cumplir su sueño de tener su árbol listo antes de navidad, en esta ocasión dada la situación en el país, que pasará o si estas navidades traerán algo diferente, decidimos hacerlo del color de nuestra bandera, amarillo o bueno dorado, azul y rojo, simbolizando la paz y esperanza que tanto anhelamos, en si duramos dos días en armarlo ya que hacíamos poco a poco entre las otras obligaciones que teníamos, pero a la final nos gustó el resultado y mi hijo feliz con su árbol, también colaboro mucho, valió la pena la espera y ansió lograr tener lo otro a tiempo jji.

Then, on my birthday, my mom had a crisis that caused her to have seizures, so my motivation dropped a little. I stayed by her side until she stabilized, and then I guess because of all the stress and fear we went through, my defenses dropped and I got sick. At first it wasn't serious, but a few days later my son came down with a fever and general malaise, Then my sister, my mom, and finally me. Although it hit me a little harder and I was bedridden, thank God I recovered quickly, just like the rest of them. We were left with a cough, which is now at least sporadic, but because of all this, I fell further and further behind with both cleaning the house and getting ready for Christmas.

So little by little we decided to move forward with taking things out. I thought that at least the tree had to be ready, especially because my son wanted to be able to put his letter to Baby Jesus there. He told me that without at least the tree, he wouldn't bring him any presents, haha, so we tried to put it up no matter what to fulfill his dream of having his tree ready before Christmas. Given the situation in the country, what will happen, and whether this Christmas will bring something different, we decided to make it the colors of our flag: yellow, or rather gold, blue, and red, symbolizing the peace and hope we so long for. It took us two days to put it up, as we did it little by little between our other obligations, but in the end we liked the result and my son was happy with his tree. He also helped a lot. It was worth the wait and he was eager to get the other one in time, hehe.
