Greeting to fellow amazing women from all over the world in the ladies of Hive community, I am interested in the topic given by the admin @ladiesofhive, therefore I decided to choose one topic in the ladies of hive Community Contest #229 with judge @elizabethbit.
I am Iris from Indonesia. I am a working mom of an adorable boy with an energy of a firecracker. My works required me to travel a lot, so I like to share about my simple daily activity while juggling my routine as a mom. I am pretty new on Hive and my friends @arveno introduce me to this community. I found that this community is very interesting, because we support other women and have so many interesting entries. So here is my first attempt joining a contest while trying to get closer with this community.
I couldn't really decide if I am more an outdoor or indoor person. I love my job so much as a part of QA team because it gives me chances to travel. I get to discover new places and meeting new people. Most of all, I just enjoy being so close to nature and escape the busy city life once in a while, since I had to visit factories in rural areas.
I also love to take pictures of scenery, sunset, clouds, and wild flowers. Sometimes, they got me inspired and I wrote many poems when on my way to work while enjoying the scenery. If possible, I don't want to do any works at home because I want to focus to my family, if I didn't have to be on site prefer to work at cafe or working space while observing people. I also like to bring my boy do outdoor activities and introduce him to nature and how things work. I believe a child need to be exposed to real things and not only by watching videos or looking at pictures.
However, when I didn't work, I am a homebody, except when I need to bring my boy outside to release his energy. I like the quite time in the dawn before everyone awake, while enjoying a cup of coffee and just let my mind wonders. I also love to read, so I spent my spare time to read a good fiction and get lost in the story. After everyone asleep and all the chores tackled, I usually writing a journal or a poem to recharge for tomorrow's hustle. But, above all,my most favorite indoors moment is lying down with my boy and watch him sleep, no words can describe how precious those moment for me.
So for me, I really enjoy both being outdoor or indoor. Staying at home too long will make me jittery and bored, while after a long working days, I need my own space to recharge. After all, it is how we make the most of every moment that count!
