Short Grocery Trip: Buying More to Save More

in Lifestyle17 days ago

Great day Hivers!!

Another day, another trip to the grocery store. 😁

Last week, my husband went to the grocery store but had forgotten a lot of things. Now, we are back at the grocery store. 😄

What do you usually do to make sure you don't forget anything when you go to the grocery store?

I always make a list, but there are times I still forget something. Much worse for my husband, he doesn't like making lists. 😅

Anyway, when I shop for food and toiletries, I always go for more so I can save more. I always check the bundle section for items I need. There are free items when you purchase a pack.

I grabbed a bottle of canola oil because of the free pouch of sugar 😁, but my husband said he needs sesame oil, not canola oil.

I went to the toiletries aisle and grabbed some tissues, wipes, detergent powder, fabric conditioner, and more. Then, my heart was filled with joy when I saw FREE FREE FREE 😆

Then I grabbed a bottle of 70% Isopropyl Alcohol. I need a big bottle because we use a lot of this for the plants. This helps against the aphids.

I checked out the drinks and snack section. I was looking for Yakult but couldn't find it. Good thing this Alaska Yogurt drink is on sale, so I grabbed 2 packs.

Next stop is the meat and produce. I grabbed half a kilo of ground beef, 1 kilo of chicken, and some frozen foods. I also grabbed a pack of grapes.

I got everything I needed, so I went straight to the counter.
