Hello everyone.. π
I hope your day is going better than a kid on a slippery slide.. π
Today, I wanted to share a story from our last rental..
As you know, running an inflatable slide business in the province isn't exactly the hottest, "on-demand" business around.. Sometimes I worry the only thing on demand is me hauling a giant piece of vinyl that smells like sunshine and plastic.. π but you know what? I wouldn't trade it π
The event was a birthday party, and the mom rented our Giant Rainbow Bouncy Castle for a solid five hours..
That's five hours of pure, unedited chaos,, the best kind π
The moment we inflate it,, the kids come running..
They look like little cartoon characters zooming across the yard..
The bouncy slide is a bright, beautiful monster of red, yellow, and blue..
Itβs got a big climbing wall and an even bigger slide..
I spent most of the afternoon taking photos and just watching the action..
The Super-Climber duo π

There was this little boy in a yellow shirt and the girl in an orange mini dress who looked like they were auditioning for a superhero movie.. π
They'd grab those black handles on the climb wall and practically fly up..
The best part??
When they reached the top, they'd shout "we are flying" with their fists up.. then slide down together
The Wobbly Wonder
Then there was a little girl in a pink "My Dad Is The Best" shirt.. π
She wasn't sliding much,, she was just trying to walk across the bouncy floor.

Every step was like walking on a giant blue waterbed..
sheβd go three steps forward,, the floor would wobble, wobble,,
and sheβd land on her butt with a surprise,, but totally happy look on her face.. Thatβs why you wear socks, kids.. π
The Tiny Tourist π€
My favorite might be the little guy in the white and green palm-tree shirt..

He didn't jump much. He just stood in the middle, looking around with this very serious expression, like he was the King of the Bounce Kingdom and was making sure all his subjects were having a good time..
He looked ready to ask for a tiny coconut shake π
Here are the rest of the pictures I took..

The real reason I do this..
Itβs definitely not for the back-breaking work of rolling up the soggy plastic at the end of every party..
It's for the free food π (always a win) and the sound π
You can hear the giggles and screams of joy from a mile away π
Five hours later,, the kids were red-faced, covered in sweat and probably a little bit dizzy,, but they were happy..
As I was deflating the giant, colorful blob,, I saw two of them giving it a little pat goodbye.. π
It just proves that no matter where you are, a big, bouncy, inflatable slide is the universal language of fun..
