Reflejos en la entrada
Hello, friends of the #ShadowHunters community, thanks to our friend @olgavita for inviting us to this initiative in her Reflection Hunters Contest – Round 271.
During this stage in which I remain lodged at the hotel because of work, I keep discovering small reflections in the most ordinary places. This time, the image appeared in the mirror located near the entrance of the room.
What was reflected there was a wooden cylinder placed beside the door, the kind used to hold umbrellas for guests to take when needed. It is a simple object, one that usually goes unnoticed, but reflected in the mirror it seemed to gain a different presence.
The composition caught my attention because of its simplicity. The mirror doubled the scene and transformed that everyday corner into something worth observing. Once again, reflections turned an ordinary detail of this temporary stay into a small visual moment.
The photos were taken with my mobile phone, and for the English version I used Google Translate.

Hola, amigos de la comunidad #ShadowHunters, gracias a la amiga @olgavita por convocarnos a esta iniciativa en su Reflection Hunters Contest – Round 271.
Durante esta etapa en la que permanezco albergado en el hotel por cuestiones de trabajo, sigo descubriendo pequeños reflejos en los lugares más cotidianos. Esta vez, la imagen apareció en el espejo situado junto a la entrada de la habitación.
Lo que se reflejaba allí era un cilindro de madera colocado al lado de la puerta, de esos que se utilizan para guardar sombrillas y que los huéspedes puedan tomar una si la necesitan al salir. Es un objeto sencillo, de los que normalmente pasan desapercibidos, pero reflejado en el espejo parecía adquirir otra presencia.
La composición llamó mi atención precisamente por su sencillez. El espejo duplicaba la escena y convertía ese rincón cotidiano en algo digno de observar. Una vez más, los reflejos transformaban un detalle ordinario de esta estancia temporal en un pequeño momento visual.
Las fotos fueron tomadas con el móvil y para la versión en inglés utilicé el traductor de Google.
