I won't say that I prefer being a book or movie person. I'll tell you that it's dependent on the book or movie. If the book is intriguing, I can read it for hours without being weary. And if the movie is intriguing, I can watch it and stay for hours enjoying all of it. So I could settle for both at all times.
I still remember an incident when I was younger. I collected a book from a friend (I think the book was both suspense and romance). This book was really interesting, like I would stay up at night because I wanted to know what will happen in the next page or chapter. I was reading in the livingroom when some TV programme was being transmitted. The TV was producing too much sound, which was distracting.
I was distracted from reading by the TV programme, so I stood up and moved to my bedroom to read. This is how much I adored that particular book. I can't remember the title of the book but it was given to me by @zitalove when we were still in secondary, she might not even remember but I can't forget, just sad that I can't rely on her for books to read again.
Sometimes when I am feeling fatigued or not in the mood to read, I just play a movie and unwind. Movies educate, and movies entertain. Thus, both movies and books provide entertainment for me. It depends on my mindset at that moment. I like both of them equally. I am happy through both in their own ways.
