It's nice. I guess this is only an introduction with future features in view. This would be great for folks selling physical goods. For digital goods, NFTs work better in my opinion. I would like to see a Shopify experience where we can list stuff from different marketplaces. But then I think the entire premise for this set up is utility for HBD so I guess we won't see that.
It can work with different cryptocurrencies, not just HBD. But if they are from another chain, it depends on having bridges to make a payment. But you can already list stuff from whichever marketplaces you want and for now just accept HBD, or would that not work?
So far, I think the target is mostly for people inside the Hive ecosystem. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of being able to share some of the things that I have for sale elsewhere, but but using it purely as a referral where you just share things you think are cool perhaps defeats the purpose of it being a feature that builds Hive.
I have very little experience with NFTs, so I can't really comment on whether it is an efficient way to sell digital goods.
I would like to see eventually the ability to accept payment perhaps in Bitcoin and one of the major stablecoins.
