"Bound by Love: A Tale of Sisterhood and Solitude"

in Cent14 days ago

These two girls are in my life, do you see? It is just those around me who keep pressuring me; I had already given up on their issues. I will just chuckle. Now, here it is:

Clarence was asleep when I finished making dinner yesterday evening, which I started a little late. Consequently, Itoro-Abasi remained conscious. Go eat, Itoro-Abasi, she said, adding that she did not want to eat. Since she is the foodie, we found this odd. I questioned her why. "I am not eating," she insisted repeatedly.

The grandmother began to pet her in an attempt to persuade her to reconsider, but to no avail. I gave up, myself. I informed Grandma that since the sister was sleeping, she would not be eating. Grandma applied more pressure, but the sister continued to say no, claiming that she was sleeping. So, I said, is it because your sister is not awake? "Yes," she replied.

I tried offering snacks to see if that would tempt her. I suppose she was genuinely hungry but unable to eat by herself. I retired in order to become busy. Silently, she went to fetch her food, stayed next to the sister, ate a little, and fell asleep.

As I gazed at them on the ground, I thought about my life . If it were me, Amah Blessing would complete everything and request that I do my share before going to bed.

I therefore move away when they fight like Ojoro sisters.

I am alone; I need someone to comfort me.
