When we talk about investment a lot of options come to the mind. From Stocks to Crypto to dealing in Real World Assets. Now when it comes to Real world Assets (RWA) I initially have never liked the idea especially when it comes to Real Estates. There were many reasons for that one of which was the chances of scams when we try and put our money into a particular real estate. For art work, gold, etc the RWA was a great idea in my opinion but over the period of time my perspective has changed for this topic as we now see RWA and blockchain technology together to take things to a different levels.
With the blockchain and RWA together we have a tokenized way in which we can invest in these RWA's. One of the benefits that I have loved and appreciated is that we don't need to own the entire RWA and we can simply hold a portion of it by investing a very decent amount. Suppose there is a Art work worth 10k USD and you have 250 USD, you can own 2.5% of that Art work in your ownership and that is something I like about it. Now with RWA's being a trending zone in Crypto space, we are seeing multiple options where projects are offering us to buy a piece of land, car, artwork etc for a very small portion of the total investment needed.
I came across a platform today known as Shheikh, one of my team mates sent me a link to that website and asked me to research on it and that is the reason why I am writing this blog today. They are a new project and they have done some paid promotion as well because some known market players have published about the project. So, it means they hold no liability in case you want to head over to the platform and participate in any of the activities available there. I checked and they are currently running a pre sale phase 1 where you can buy their token and start your journey on the platform.
You can buy a minimum of $1 worth of token and they claim to have already raised 1 million dollars. That has happened in just three days of time as I researched and got to know that they started their Pre sale on 30th June itself. I studied their Roadmap and it looked fine to me, you can visit the website and read their whitepaper for better understanding of what they are capable of doing. In the screenshot shared below you can see the distribution of tokens that is being planned by the project. I didn't liked founders and team keeping 25% with themselves.
I also checked their social media pages and they are not so well established. That is where I started to lose trust on this project. They have only 5 followers on Instagram, 6 subscribers on YouTube and even other social pages are not so strong. They started posting on Instagram on 23rd June and in 10 days they are only having 5 followers. Let us ignore and head over to their Roadmap to see what they plant to do in coming months and years. I will share the Roadmap from their official webpage below so that you can read it but we will also discuss about it.
Seeing the roadmap we can tell that the project is really in a early phase and if you betting your money on it you have to be prepared for a chance where you might lose all your money. In Q3 2025 they will start onboarding real estates assets and they will also launch Pre sale Phase 2 and 3. Maybe we can digest that point as they will have something to show after Pre sale 1 is over and that will work for them in onboarding Real estates on their platform and tokenizing them with their native token named SHHEIKH.
By the end of 2025 they will complete the Pre sale 4 to 6 and also bring a AI verification feature. Apart from that they will tokenize resorts and casino which means we will have the chance to invest in that once the 2026 arrives and the project goes live for the investors and people all around the world. One more thing is that you can invest with 100 dollars in any of the RWA once 2026 comes and real trading starts. Though in presale you can participate with just $1.
If you want to take chance in this project, I will suggest to do it in parts and in different presales. Invest if you are ready to lose your money as this still looks a little risky to me. The final decision is yours and I will personally invest a few dollars in the project and think I will invest more during the future pre sales.
