Wednesday Walk - Wednesday Walk - West Beach

Good Morning all, I had another planned idea for my last post of the year in the Wednesday Walk, partially because I haven't been out for many walks of recent ( although I have been working out in a VR app at home) but the other day I did actually get out for a walk and will share some shots from that walk today.
The reason I haven't been out walking is not because I haven't been feeling well, I am feeling good now, but the cold weather I feel more these days and with the Surgery possible coming up in late Jan I am trying to be sensible and stay healthy.
But that said, the Surgeon wanted me to get cleared by a cardiologist before he does the surgery, so I saw one the other day, and although my heart sounded good and my ECG was fine, as I have had blockages in my legs and have stents in them, she wants to make sure there are no concerning blockages in or near my heart, so I have t do a Stress test on the 19th of Jan and then will find out on the 23rd if she will clear me for the surgery or suggest anything else.
Now I am staying pretty chill and positive about all this, and the cardiologist made the point many times that the surgery is a major and long surgery so its important to do this. Personally I think mentioning that once would have been enough, nut i guess he just wanted to make the point.
But after that I felt the need to get a walk in as thats when I think best and relax the best, so I headed to West Beach here in New Bedford for a walk, originally planning just a short walk but walked back and forth the beaches for maybe two hours and even caught the sunset

As the sun came lower we got some warm colors with the clouds I didnt expect to get much more color than this

its a real nice beach popular in summer, but at this time of year even in the afternoon few people there

just after the sun dropped below the horizon, most of the colors were gone and I was walking back to my car when some gorgeous reds came out in the sky

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by me, the idea is to get out for a short walk and get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start. And this is my entry for this week, but first, let me explain the challenge.
This is my post for the Wednesday Walk challenge hosted by myself, let me first explain the guidelines
Try and get out once a week for a short walk, can be from your office, home or anywhere really and walk for a few blocks or a few minutes looking for things to get shots of.
Your walk does not have to be on a Wednesday I just ask if possible to share your walk photos on a Wednesday.
Try and get a few shots not just one
Add a bit of a write up about where you walked
Just one Wednesday Walk tagged post a week
You can look for anything in general or decide on one subject you want to get shots off.
Make a point of looking around and up and see what you can find to get shots of that otherwise you may miss
Do a post with the shots you get on a Wednesday and tag it with #wednesdaywalk, also if you happen to join, please leave a link to your post in a comment on this post and I will try and visit them all, especially if its not one of the first 5 tags or I may miss seeing it .
Following me and re-Hiving the post so more see it would be appreciated but isn't a rule just a suggestion.
I am not strict on these rules and hence why they are called guidelines and not rules
I will try and visit, and upvote all who take part in the Wednesday Walk.
