For my part, I must confess that mine was super exhausting, but also full of those small satisfactions that come from a job well done and sharing with people who bring good energy, like a great friend.
Today we received our friend Pedro at home very early in the morning, ready as always to give us his support in a wall we are building in another plot of our land. Pedro has extensive knowledge of masonry, and his help is invaluable to us. Not only does he guide us with his expertise, but he also works hand in hand with us. He has a great command of his craft and how he is always willing to share what he knows, he really knows his stuff! I couldn't ask for better company to tackle this type of task in our home.

Por mi parte, debo confesar que el mío fue súper agotador, pero también lleno de esas pequeñas satisfacciones que vienen del trabajo bien hecho y de compartir con personas que aportan buena energía, como un gran amigo.
Hoy recibimos a nuestro amigo Pedro en casa bien temprano, dispuesto como siempre a brindarnos su apoyo en un muro que estamos construyendo en otra parcela de nuestro terreno. Pedro tiene amplios conocimientos de albañilería, y su ayuda es invaluable para nosotros. No solo nos orienta con su experiencia, sino que también trabaja mano a mano con nosotros. Tiene gran dominio de su oficio y cómo siempre está dispuesto a compartir lo que sabe. ¡Realmente sabe lo que hace! No podría pedir mejor compañía para enfrentar este tipo de tareas en nuestra casa.
The day was intense, and we devoted ourselves to the work on the plot with great dedication. Each block placed and each mix prepared required our maximum effort. To be honest, we made good progress and seeing how the wall is taking shape motivates us even more. However, there also came a time when we all needed to stop, not only to rest physically, but also to recharge our batteries.
We decided to stop for lunch, and during the meal we took the opportunity to talk and relax.
El día fue intenso, y nos entregamos al trabajo en la parcela con mucha dedicación. Cada bloque colocado y cada mezcla preparada requería de nuestro máximo esfuerzo. La verdad, logramos avanzar bastante y ver cómo el muro va tomando forma nos motiva aún más. Sin embargo, también llegó un momento en que todos necesitábamos detenernos, no solo para descansar físicamente, sino también para recargar energías.
Decidimos parar para almorzar, y durante la comida aprovechamos para conversar y relajarnos.
Later, now a little more recovered, we bathe and prepare everything to take Pedro back to his home. His home is quite a distance away, but we happily took him there.
Today, the weather was an additional challenge. The sun was especially intense, and we really felt it even more with the physical work we did. But, despite the exhaustion this caused, there was one thing that filled me with satisfaction, the views I was able to enjoy along the way. On days like these, the clear skies and bright sunlight make the landscapes come alive.
Más tarde, ya un poco más recuperados, nos bañamos y preparamos todo para llevar a Pedro de regreso a su casa. Su hogar está bastante distante, pero con alegría hacia allá lo llevamos.
Hoy, el clima fue un desafío adicional. El sol estuvo especialmente intenso, y realmente lo sentimos aún más con el trabajo físico que realizamos. Pero, a pesar del agotamiento que esto provocó, hubo algo que me llenó de satisfacción, las vistas que pude disfrutar en el camino. En días como estos, el cielo despejado y la luz brillante del sol hacen que los paisajes cobren una vida especial.
As we headed back home, we could already feel the change of the day as the afternoon approached. Little by little, the bright and warm tones of the landscape gave way to softer and grayer colors as the sun went down. Although it was inevitable to feel some fatigue, these landscapes at the end of the day, with their serene tones, offered us great tranquility.
Cuando salimos de regreso a casa, ya se sentía el cambio del día al irse acercando la tarde. Poco a poco, los tonos brillantes y cálidos del paisaje dieron paso a colores más suaves y grises, mientras el sol se iba escondiendo. Aunque era inevitable sentir cierto cansancio, estos paisajes al final del día, con sus tonos serenos, nos ofrecieron gran tranquilidad.
