Greetings, dear friends! I hope you had a restful and wonderful weekend, filled with beautiful moments. Today I want to share with you a little bit of my weekend, which was quite peaceful and relaxed.
This weekend was calm, although my husband had to work and I was left with the task of picking him up when he finished. Even though we didn't have the whole morning free to spend together, we found a way to enjoy our time together, which is something we always value.
Around noon, I went to pick him up so we could spend some quality time together by the sea. Our son had plans with his friends, so taking advantage of the fact that we would be alone for a few hours, we planned our lunch together.
¡Saludos, queridos amigos! Espero que hayan tenido un fin de semana descansado y genial, lleno de lindos momentos. Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes un pedacito de mi fin de semana, uno bastante tranquilo y relajado.
Este fin de semana transcurrió con calma, aunque mi esposo tuvo que trabajar y yo quedé con la tarea de ir a buscarlo cuando terminara. A pesar de que no lo tuvimos completamente libre para compartir desde la mañana, encontramos la manera de disfrutar el tiempo juntos, que es algo que siempre valoramos.
Cerca del mediodía, me dirigí a recogerlo para que pudiéramos pasar un rato agradable juntó al mar. Nuestro hijo, por su parte, tenía planes con sus amigos, así que aprovechando que estaríamos solos por unas horas, planeamos nuestro almuerzo juntos.
When we arrived, we decided to sit for a while by Concorde Beach, where the sound of the waves and the fresh sea air always invite us to relax and help us disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It's a place we love to visit because it allows us to talk without distractions, enjoying the beautiful gift that is the sea. However, this time we couldn't stay long, as the sun was really strong and we were starting to feel hungry, so we decided to go for lunch without delay.
Al llegar por él, decidimos sentarnos un rato junto a la playa Concorde, donde el sonido de las olas y el aire fresco del mar siempre nos invitan a pasar momentos relajados, nos ayuda a desconectarnos del ajetreo diario. Es un lugar que nos encanta visitar porque nos permite conversar sin distracciones, disfrutando de ese hermoso regalo que es el mar. Sin embargo, esta vez no pudimos quedarnos mucho tiempo, ya que el sol estaba realmente imponente y el hambre comenzaba a hacer presencia, por lo que optamos por ir a almorzar sin demora.
We headed into town and, after thinking about where would be the best place to enjoy a good meal, we ended up at El Punto Criollo restaurant. Personally, I really like this place because they always have a wide variety of dishes, allowing us to choose exactly what we feel like eating at the moment, and the service is excellent—I have no complaints about them.
My husband opted for a delicious pizza, one of those with a perfect combination of flavors and a crispy crust, while I chose a cachapa with fried pork, a dish I love and, as always, it did not disappoint. The food was spectacular, and beyond the delicious lunch, what was really special was sharing that time together, talking, laughing, and simply enjoying each other's company without worries. Those moments, although simple, are what we really like the most. It's as if we were giving ourselves a break together in the midst of the daily grind that sometimes absorbs us.
Nos dirigimos hacia la ciudad y, después de pensar un poco dónde sería el mejor lugar para disfrutar de una buena comida, terminamos en el restaurante El Punto Criollo. Personalmente, me gusta mucho este sitio porque siempre tienen una gran variedad de platos, lo que nos permite elegir justo lo que nos provoque en el momento y la atención es excelente, no tengo quejas de ellos.
Mi esposo se inclinó por una deliciosa pizza, de esas que tienen una combinación perfecta de sabores y una masa crujiente, mientras que yo opté por una cachapa con cochino frito, un plato que me encanta y que, como siempre, no decepcionó. La comida estuvo espectacular, y más allá de lo delicioso del almuerzo, lo realmente especial fue compartir ese tiempo juntos, conversar, reírnos y simplemente disfrutar de nuestra compañía sin preocupaciones. Esos momentos, aunque sencillos, son los que realmente más nos gusta, es como si nos diéramos juntos un respiro en medio del día a día que en ocasiones nos absorbe.
After lunch, we headed back home, enjoying the scenery and the good weather that accompanied us along the way. When we got home, we continued the afternoon with the same tranquility, letting the day end without rushing.
