#lifestyle friends! I hope everyone is having a great and productive day. Today has been an amazing day, full of work and new experiences. Here I tell you a little bit about my day.
My day started early, at 7:30 in the morning, when my dad, my husband and I left. We had an important day ahead of us, as we were going to renew contracts for the year, which is crucial to guarantee our work. The weather on Margarita Island was spectacular, with a radiant sun and clear skies that accompanied us throughout the trip.
¡Amigos de #lifestyle! Espero que todos tengan un día genial y productivo. Hoy ha sido un día increíble, lleno de trabajo y experiencias nuevas. Aquí les cuento un poco de mi jornada.
Mi día comenzó temprano, a las 7:30 de la mañana, cuando salimos mi padre, mi esposo y yo. Teníamos un día importante por delante, ya que íbamos a renovar contratos para el año, lo cual es crucial para garantizar nuestro trabajo. El clima en Isla Margarita estaba espectacular, con un sol radiante y un cielo despejado que nos acompañó durante todo el recorrido.
My husband did all the driving for the entire trip, which allowed me to enjoy the scenery and capture some special moments with my lens. Every place we passed through had something unique and beautiful to offer, making our little contract meetings that much more enjoyable and memorable.
Mi esposo fue quien se encargó de manejar durante todo el viaje, lo que me permitió disfrutar del paisaje y capturar algunos momentos especiales con mi lente. Cada lugar por el que pasábamos tenía algo único y hermoso que ofrecer, haciendo de nuestras pequeñas reuniones de contrato algo mucho más ameno y memorable.
Our first stop was at a warehouse, where we picked up two sacks of resin for a job we have pending. After fulfilling our meeting schedule, we headed to a “chivera”, which is a place where you can find car parts. We needed some mirrors for our vehicle, and the store recommended us to look there. Although I only took pictures of the entrance out of respect for the privacy of the people there, I was impressed by a robot made from car parts that was beautifully painted and reflected the creativity and ingenuity of those who built it.
Nuestra primera parada fue en un depósito, donde recogimos dos sacos de resina para un trabajo que tenemos pendiente. Después de cumplir con nuestro programa de reuniones, nos dirigimos a una "chivera", que es un lugar donde se pueden encontrar repuestos de carros. Necesitábamos unos espejos para nuestro vehículo, y la tienda nos recomendó buscar en ese lugar. Aunque solo tomé fotos de la entrada por respeto a la privacidad de las personas que estaban allí, me impresionó un robot hecho de repuestos de carros que estaba muy bien pintado y reflejaba la creatividad e ingenio de quienes lo construyeron.
The scenery along the road was simply spectacular. While my father and my husband were talking to the manager of the chivera, I took the opportunity to contemplate the beauty of the surroundings. I admit I didn't understand much of what they were talking about, as my knowledge of cars is limited to starting them, fueling them and cleaning the spark plugs. Everything else seems to be written in a completely different language to me.
El paisaje a lo largo del camino era simplemente espectacular. Mientras mi padre y mi esposo hablaban con el encargado de la chivera, yo aproveché para contemplar la belleza del entorno. Admito que no entendía mucho de lo que hablaban, ya que mi conocimiento sobre carros se limita a arrancarlos, ponerles combustible y limpiar las bujías. Todo lo demás parece estar escrito en un idioma completamente diferente para mí.
After finishing our errands at the chivera, hunger began to make its presence felt. We had been on the street since early in the morning without eating anything, and it was already late in the afternoon, so we decided to look for a place to have a snack. We were in the El Valle sector, so we passed near the square and saw several shops selling handicrafts. I took the opportunity to capture every moment with my lens, enjoying the streets and the atmosphere that the people of Margarita love so much.
Después de terminar nuestras diligencias en la chivera, el hambre empezó a hacer acto de presencia. Habíamos estado en la calle desde temprano sin comer nada, y ya estaba entrada la tarde, así que decidimos buscar un lugar donde merendar. Estábamos en el sector El Valle, así que pasamos cerca de la plaza y vimos varios locales de venta de artesanías. Aproveché la oportunidad para capturar cada momento con mi lente, disfrutando de las calles y del ambiente que tanto aman los margariteños.
Finally, we arrived at some kiosks in front of the hospital del Valle, known as “Chicha la especial”. I had heard a lot about this place, and I was not disappointed. We ordered some chichas that were delicious and some tequeños that were also exceptional. For me, the fundamental of a good tequeño is the cheese, and these really lived up to that requirement. My father and my husband, who are very good eaters, repeated tequeños, but for me one was enough, as they were quite large.
Finalmente, llegamos a unos quioscos que están frente al hospital del Valle, conocidos como "Chicha la especial". Había escuchado mucho sobre este lugar, y no me decepcionó. Pedimos unas chichas que estaban deliciosas y unos tequeños que también eran excepcionales. Para mí, lo fundamental de un buen tequeño es el queso, y estos realmente cumplían con ese requisito. Mi padre y mi esposo, que son de muy buen comer, repitieron tequeños, pero para mí uno fue suficiente, ya que eran bastante grandes.
The cool weather and pleasant atmosphere made our after-dinner conversation perfect. We had a very pleasant time, enjoying something different and we were all pleased with our choice. I will definitely come back another time for that delicious chicha.
El clima fresco y el ambiente agradable hicieron que nuestra sobremesa fuera perfecta. Pasamos un rato muy ameno, disfrutando de algo diferente y todos quedamos complacidos con nuestra elección. Sin duda, en otra ocasión volveré por esa deliciosa chicha.
When we finished, we took the avenue back home. We realized how productive and rewarding our day had been. Not only did we get to renew our contracts, but we also shared special moments with family and discovered new places.
