Very beautiful mine and horrible loss. People seldom plan ahead and reduce their risk 🙄 their are famous salt mines in Louisiana where I used to live. The McIlhenry family uses Avery Island to produce Tabasco sauce. Perfect. They mine the salt used in the sauce and the peppers used in the sauce grows great atop the sale domes.

        It is shocking to get to this point, but ignorance, and mostly carelessness led to this.
