I assume sysadmins have all sorts of monitoring going on. I remember when the AC failed in a server room where I worked. It got really hot in there, but not my job to sort it out.

        Yeah, I should probably have a lot more than I do, but we are so small that I can usually see things happen in real time without some kind of alert. My AC goes out way more than it really should in my data centers.
