Now You See Me: Now You Don’t
The theft of a diamond brings the Four Horsemen back into action, along with a new generation of illusionists. Is it worth watching? It’s perfectly fine for a home viewing.

- It’s very easy and enjoyable to watch, entertaining overall. Especially if you liked the first two films.
- The attempt to refresh the concept with the help of artificial intelligence works.
- Some of the magic tricks were quite creative.
- Fast-paced.
- Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, and Ariana Greenblatt bring fresh energy.
- The cast overall is solid and has good chemistry.
- There’s an effort to add a more political layer.
🔴🔴🔴🔴
- Rosamund Pike brings a campy tone to her role as the villain, which didn’t impress me, she can do much more.
- Over-the-top and a bit naive at times.
- I saw the twist coming, it felt obvious. 🤷♂️
- It lacked the tension and excitement you’d expect.
- The dialogue isn’t particularly inspired.
- Predictable, though not in an annoying way.
Frankenstein
Victor Frankenstein, as a young doctor, scandalizes the medical establishment of Edinburgh by presenting his study on how to defeat death and bring a dead human body back to life. Frankenstein goes on to create a new creature, which soon comes face to face with the brutal behavior and arrogance of its creator. Is it worth watching? Absolutely yes.

- I think Jacob Elordi steals the show from Oscar Isaac, who is also very good.
- Very polished production, visually spectacular, with flawless costumes, hair, and makeup.
- Beautiful cinematography, a world immersed in light and shadow.
- Del Toro, in my opinion, delivers excellent directing once again.
- The script raises compelling moral questions about creator and creation, alienation, arrogance, etc.
- A familiar story, but presented from a fresh perspective without distorting it.
🔴🔴🔴🔴
- You won’t be scared, but I don’t think that’s really the point.
- The beautification of certain elements feels slightly off at times.
- I don’t understand why it needed to be 2.5 hours long. With some scenes removed, it would have felt much more complete.
