Italian rally ace and rally school teacher at Vittorio Caneva Rally School is in comand after first full day of special stages. Although the differences are not big and anything can happen tomorrow.
His lead over his compatriot and double European Rally champion Giandomenico Basso is only 3.3s and that's nothing. It will be a fight until a dead end. Current Championship leader Miko Marczyk is 8.7s of the lead and I saw twpo huge mistakes from him today which costed him a lead today. But tomorrow is another day things can improve in his favor although I don't think he will win over home specialists.
Another driver from who was expected big is Andrea Mabellini, who is 13.9s off the lead. He would have to be super quick tomorrow if he wants that win.
Yeah, Citroën is in lead while four Škoda cars are until P5 (with Roberto Dapra in 5th position). Tomorrow is last day of the rally and it is still very much open at the top.
