I didn't have much time thisweek to follow latest round of European Rally Championship called Royal Rally of Scandinavia because of our own preparing ahead of Sardinia but I saw the final results while waiting for ferry for the Olbia in Italian city Livorno.
So, very experienced and fast driver Eyvind Brynildsen from Norway showed his proven talent and speed to snatch the win ahead of new Finnish rising star Roope Korhonen (both Toyota Yaris Rally2). This is also a prove about latest Rally2 machinery Toyota Yaris as the fastest machinery in class at the moment and the fact that Škoda is now behimd them for sure.
Local driver Isak Reiersen snatched final step of the podium in the Škoda Fabia RS Rally2 with only 9.6s behind a winner bit lets be clear - Brynildsen didn't drive for some time and these youngsters drive frequently.
ERC regular, Italian Andrea Mabellini finished 4th (Škoda) while Frank Tore Larsen finished 5th in an old Volkswagen Polo R5.
