Esta será mi participación de la semana para: PhotoFeed Contest – Black & White Photography. La fotografía que les comparto hoy es de uno de mis gatitos, específicamente Kappa. Espero que les guste.
As I mentioned earlier, the photo I’m sharing is of one of my kittens named Kappa. He’s named after the Greek letter, but also because in Spanish it sounds like “Capa,” from the Photoshop program, and he’s white—like a blank layer. He’s a very photogenic kitten, and I enjoy taking pictures of him while he does all kinds of activities, but honestly he looks the cutest when he’s asleep. When I saw him sleeping so peacefully, I thought of photographing him. I liked this black-and-white photo even more because it highlights the details of his fur very well. In addition, black and white helps convey that feeling of serenity and tranquility I wanted to achieve in the photo. Como adelantaba, la fotografía que les comparto es de uno de mis gatitos llamado Kappa. Se llama así por la letra griega, pero también porque suena como “Capa” en español, del programa Photoshop, y es blanco, como una capa en blanco. Es un gatito muy fotogénico y me gusta tomarle fotografías cuando realiza todo tipo de actividades, pero la verdad se ve muy lindo cuando duerme. Desde que lo vi durmiendo tan tranquilo pensé en fotografiarlo. Me gustó aún más esta fotografía en blanco y negro porque realza muy bien los detalles de su pelaje. Además, el blanco y negro ayuda a transmitir esa sensación de serenidad y tranquilidad que quería lograr en la fotografía. Espero que les guste esta entrada y los animo a participar en este round de PhotoFeed Contest – Black & White Photography compartiendo sus mejores fotos en blanco y negro.
