A great period of sober reflection in our Lives as we begin this great Journey with the Lord Almighty. We are encouraged greatly to walk with him, suffer in one way or the other and we hope by his grace and Mercy for that great crown of glory in our Lives throught Jesus Christ our Lord Amen.
The Ashes on our forehead symbolizes that we are dust and dust of a true shall we return. ASH meaning Aunthenticity means that we should always be authentic before God Almighty and also before Our fellow man there is nothing in which we should do from the heart of fakeness rather we should always be genuine.
S- Sacrifice. Indeed we should sacrifice greatly in one way or the other. It really entails giving up something as the Children of light in which we really are.
H- Humility. It is a great virtue and we indeed must try to possess it. Bringing ourselves down is a great virtue and when once we done it God Almighty would lift us up in one way or the other.
This lenten period is also summurized in three S.
Secrecy: we should be doing things in secret our right hands should not know that in which our left hand is doing rather we should appear pure with a genuine mindset.
Sacrifice - We should always make sacrifice and when doing so should greatly out of our will towards that in which we are doing.
Smile- smiling is vert great. It can help prevent a problem in one way or the other and also a great medicine to the soul. We should always try to wear a smile.
