Good evening buzzers, I'm hoping to get a quick post out before I head off to work for another evening! Who knows, I might have enough time this evening to play with the Ecency app later and create even more content, or possibly just send some waves! It's great being able to connect with people in a quick easy format!
So recently I've been doing a bit of reflecting. Where should I be focusing my energy? How can I continue to grow and advance, both as a person and as a community creator here on Hive? Recently the Slothbuzz community asked you for some feedback, and, well, in true sloth fashion, you've yet to find it! Want to leave your opinions? Do so HERE. My crypto journey has always been trying to build a name for myself, SlothlyDoesit was the chosen one, with SlothlyD for short. Slothlydoesit. Everything sloth, slowly doing it! Whatever it may be at the time! I've always strived to help people and build in the crypto space. In fact, I've been using the same alias for the last 6 years or so now! What a journey! (I love the fact I can go back through Hive posts to find old information I've shared previously!)

SteemitHive name, I've always been known as SlothlyD. Originating on Minds.com when I need to think up a username for the new blockchain era! Starting crypto in Nov 2018 with Cryptokitties, slowly making my way through projects. I began helping with community growth and management, until I started buzzing on Hive! Sloth.Buzz is my first project I'm launching!
How the time flies when you're having fun! And crypto has always been just that for me! It's all about the fun! I never really focused on the money side of things, always looking to hodl and support tokens/coins/game and more. Of course, over the years I've flipped a token or NFT here and there but for the most part I've held most things until they've gone to 0, or are continuing to build. When I started my Hive journey I kept the same mindset. Collecting as many tokens as I could and staking them. In my head, this was the best option. More tokens = bigger stakes = more rewards long term?
Unfortunately this method leads to a poor sloth, and a poor sloth can't pay much more forward. So, I've had to develop that strategy slightly. I recently started selling some of the little tokens I was collecting. Mainly via the slothbuzz community account, this will allow me to turn the tokens into Hive which can then be reinvested into the community. The Slothbuzz community is already 2 years old and I feel I've not given it the best chance to succeed, by holding and supporting other tokens and communities I haven't let the sloth shine!

With the recent shift in focus, I'm looking at ways to further improve the slothbuzz community. I still don't plan to take anything out for personal gain, my main focus as always, has been supporting other people and building a strong community. We're looking at ways to incentivise this further. We already have the community and token with the tipping bot. Next, we are looking at adding drip rewards or delegation rewards or a combination of both! Rewarding those who have helped build and support the slothbuzz community over the last few years.
Every step forward helps build a stronger community. We'd love to have more users working with the community, holding events and contests. Building different tools and applications. Helping each other survive and thrive in the crazy crypto world! Who knows where the sloths can go. Like every project, sometimes we buzz, other times we're a little more sloth!
Let's continue to make Hive great! We all know there are some issues with the overall ecosystem, but as a whole Hive has the potential to flourish! As a social token, a community-building platform, a home for the lost and confused! Let's continue to support each other and bring the best of what Hive has to offer to the forefront of the conversation. One slothly step at a time, let's find our buzz!
