RE: Elon Is Merging SpaceX And xAI

in Olio di Balenayesterday (edited)

In the NASA days of space exploration it costed around $50,000 to transport 2 pounds of cargo to earth's orbit. Space X has succeeded in reducing cost per pound stats by a significant margin. It will be interesting to see how they plan to put data centers in orbit, in terms of cost effective logistics. I think most might agree its not their end game, only a stepping stone to eventually reaching mars. The same might be said of generating trillion dollar net worth. Its a cash cow intended to fund future mars missions.
