In this post I will share my experience while exploring the rocky hills located in the Ujung Lekas Geosite tourist attraction, this is one of the popular tourist destinations in the city of Takengon, many people flock to visit this place with their respective purposes. In this place visitors can enjoy all the existing facilities and see the beautiful natural scenery such as views of the tawar sea and towering mountains, but in this post I will focus more on when I explored these rocky hills, where in a hill there are lots of rocks with different shapes and sizes.
For visitors who come with family, especially if there are those who bring small children, this place is also highly recommended because in the main area we will find a children's play area and there are various interesting facilities such as swings, seesaws, swivel chairs and various other interesting facilities that will certainly make small children feel at home for a long time in this place.
In this tourist spot there is also a villa that is intended for visitors who come from far away, but I cannot be sure how many villas there are in this place because at that time I only found one villa.From the main area we only need to walk about 50 meters to arrive at the rocky hill area, and this is an area that is highly sought after by visitors because besides being able to enjoy the natural scenery, in this place visitors can also take as many photos as they like because it has a very beautiful background.
This hill is filled with rocks of various shapes and sizes, besides the rocks, this hill is also filled with lush wild plants so that this place has a very calming atmosphere.I don't know how big this hill is, but it looks quite high, and the good news is that visitors can explore this hill as much as they like while enjoying everything this place has to offer.
There is one oddity that can be seen from this view, namely the pine trees that have very dense branch growth so that it looks like a large nest. If we look for information about this place on social media, this area will often be seen, the reason is that from this area visitors can see the view of the ocean and mountains at the same time.
The beautiful natural scenery combined with the calming atmosphere is quite an extraordinary thing, this is a natural medicine that can cure several mental illnesses such as stress.The downside is that there are no chairs in this rocky hill area, so visitors who want to rest can decide for themselves whether they want to rest on the grass or on the rocks,but that is not a problem for me because this place already offers an extraordinary paradise especially for visitors.
According to the information I got from one of the officers there, around these hills there are several caves, some are small and some are large, but visitors are advised to be very careful when approaching the cave because this is a cave that is still very natural and is rarely entered by people, it is feared that there are wild animals living in the cave,so visitors are advised to enjoy the caves from the outside only.
We continued climbing this hill until we were around 15 meters high, my partner was already feeling tired, and I had to wait for him with small steps Lol.After walking for about 5 minutes, I finally managed to find the first cave. From its appearance alone, this cave was not very convincing,there were lots of plants and bushes at the entrance to this cave.
Honestly, I was very curious about what was inside this cave, but I kept telling myself it was dangerous. It turns out the hill is also quite high, and I realized this when I was able to see a wider and clearer view of the natural landscape.
This wasn't at the top of the hill, but rather in the middle or on the slope. We weren't in a hurry, so on the slope of this hill we decided to take a break, my partner rested on a rock, while I rested on the ground. (We rested while admiring the beautiful natural scenery and enjoying the refreshing atmosphere.)
