Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

Aceh Tamiang is one of the regencies in Aceh Province. This regency is well known because it serves as the main gateway, or the border area, between Aceh Province and North Sumatra Province. In addition, this regency is also well known for its many ethnic groups and cultures, which become more interesting the more you explore them. I also grew up in this regency and have seen so many changes taking place because of what we continue to do. And through this journey, we will also be able to see the enthusiasm of the people of Aceh Tamiang as they rebuild their lives after being hit by the floods a year ago.

Here, we can also find many extraordinary natural tourist destinations, such as Mount Pandan, Rengas, Seven-Tier Waterfall, Kuala Paret, Tamsar, and several other natural attractions. However, they are also quite far from the city. In this regency, we can also find a very long bridge. It was even once recognized as the longest bridge in Aceh during its time.

However, in 2022, a new bridge was built beside the old bridge, and this new bridge is called the "Krueng Tamiang Bridge." If I'm not mistaken, this bridge is about 240 meters long and was officially opened to the public on June 19, 2025.

After the major flood in Aceh Tamiang a year ago, the river has now become wider, but it is much shallower. Along the riverbank, we can also see the remains of several houses that were washed away by the flood. Even today, we can still feel the damage and its impact.

From the top of the bridge, I also took the opportunity to capture the view of the tall buildings around Kuala Simpang City. The view looks very beautiful, especially when seen in the late afternoon. In this city, we can also find many historical buildings from the past, which certainly hold countless stories. Therefore, Kuala Simpang is also often referred to as the old city of Aceh.

A mosque building by the roadside also caught my attention because of its unique architecture. This mosque is located quite close to the Aceh Tamiang Bridge. It is situated right beside the main road, so its beauty can be seen by everyone passing along the road.

After spending about two hours exploring Kuala Simpang City, I finally decided to take a short break at a mosque located right beside the main road. From its name board, we can see that this mosque is called Jami' Tursina Mosque.

Besides having remarkable architectural value, the front yard of this mosque is also filled with many ornamental plants and colorful flowers. Of course, this is a truly wonderful view that accompanied me during my break. After getting enough rest, I tried to capture the beauty of those ornamental plants, as well as a signboard or a monument located right in front of this mosque.

And after everything was finished, I decided to continue my journey. Everything went quite smoothly, and this journey brought me a sense of happiness. At exactly 6:00 pm, I decided to head back home.
