Al leer ésta maravillosa invitación de @damarysvibra pensé de inmediato en el primer libro no escolar que mi padre me recomendó como lectura ⬇️
No tuve entonces entre mis manos, por supuesto, esta edición que encontré en el librero de mi esposa @lizandra, sino aquella de 1974 que leyó mi generación 😅 y que estaba superiormente ilustrada, tenía mejor papel y mejor acabado que éste, era por lo que recuerdo, como producto, un libro mucho más bello.
Pero esa no es la razón por la que lo desestimo (de cualquier manera, éste presenta el mismo contenido del que leí a los 10 años) Lo desestimo porque esas primeras lecturas bajo la guía de mi padre, eran un instructivo método de castigo, con el que nuestro padre pretendía librarnos de otro físicamente más severo, pues tanto mis hermanos como yo, no salíamos de hacer una trastada para entrar en otra, y nuestra madre, que para que tengan una idea, me tuvo a mí que soy el mayor, unos meses después de cumplir sus 15, y buscando la hembrita, llegaron además Ivonel e Ixen, no era para menos, perdía con frecuencia la paciencia, porque lo mismo le dábamos candela a un estante, que lanzábamos un puerco a un foso, jugando casi siempre a los indios y vaqueros. Así que la mano de cintazos o chancletazos nos iba encima con asiduidad.
Los 📚 que nos fue dando como castigo más pasivo nuestro padre, al menos esos primeros (que él nos daba a los 3, así fuera uno el infractor de turno) por lo menos fueron variando nuestros juegos, y nos convirtieron en Los Mosqueteros sin Dartañan (D'Artagnan) (no se me olvida la bronca por cuál de los 3 era Sandokan) 🤭
Se imaginarán que el leer como castigo, no resulta un buen método para conquistar a un lector, como fue mi caso, pero en mis dos hermanos se impuso el rechazo, la aversión a leer.
El más chico de los 3, Ixen, sin embargo, siguió el camino de mi padre con respecto a la Informática y los Idiomas (y de ellos llenó su librero). En tanto si vas a la biblioteca de Ivonel, encontrarás muchas revistas de Ciencia y Técnica, o libros que son más bien Manuales Inventivos. Equipo que le des a ese hermano mío, te lo arregla. Bueno, ha terminado siendo Sonidista.
La aversión de ellos dos fue más bien para con la Ficción, que a mí sí me atrajo de manera acelerada y obsesiva. Al punto que mi padre vio la necesidad, de instalar un librero pegado al techo, en las 4 paredes de nuestro cuarto, para que yo desplegara ahí mi creciente colección de libros de cuentos, novela y poesía, cuando arribé a los 14 años.
Por esos días había descubierto por mi propia cuenta en la Librería Frank País de Nueva Gerona este 📕 ⬇️
Por supuesto, en la edición cubana de Arte y Literatura, no ésa 😂
Me fascinó tanto la manera de narrar de su autor, que fuí a por otros de sus 📚 y en mi pesquisa llegué incluso a descubrir, en una revista Opción, que era también poeta. Por lo que fuí inmediatamente, con la revista en la mano, a mostrárselo a mi mentor Francisco Mir. De él mismo incluso podría haber elegido un libro suyo de esos que me cambió la existencia, tanto como lo hizo el repiqueteo de Oscar. Pensé hacerlo (ya que he hablado en Posts anteriores por Hive de varios poemarios suyos) del único al que todavía no le he dedicado unas palabras para quienes me leen asiduamente, es éste ⬇️
El libro que me mostró la posibilidad de construir textos híbridos, el transgredir los géneros literarios y prestarle los procedimientos de uno al otro. En este caso se trata se una brevísima noveleta lírica, cuyo tema central es el Amor.
Pero en eso se apareció mi esposa @lizandra al patio, y me preguntó:
-¿De qué trata ése libro que tienes sobre el buró al lado de la laptop que se titula Siete maneras de decir manzana?
Y como estaba yo inmerso en los retoques del borrador de mi post anterior a éste 😅 le respondí "rápido y furioso", a la ligera, como para no dar más explicaciones:
-Es un libro de Ensayo.
Cuando en honor a la verdad, mi querida @lizandra, te debía haber respondido esto otro ⬇️
-Es un libro de CONJETURAS. Un libro que se lee de un tirón por su diafanidad a pesar de que se erige como un Tratado Poético, y siendo el menos voluminoso de todos los Tratados Literarios, de todos los libros de Teoría Literaria y de Preceptiva de la Poesía que asiduamente consulto para impartir mis talleres, es el libro que cambió mi perspectiva como Pedagogo.
Es el que me iluminó para convertir el Taller en un Curso. Y ello se lo debo a la que entonces era directora del Centro Provincial del Libro y la Literatura, Maritza Pino. Que se apareció con él en las manos durante las Lecturas de Verano, cuando yo estaba a cargo del Centro de Promoción Literaria Florentino Morales y celebrábamos en la Librería Ateneo Dionisio San Román un Aniversario de mi Taller, fundado en 1999 por solicitud de ella y de la escritora Mirtha González.
Ellas dos fueron las que me convencieron de la necesidad de una acción de superación para los poetas, y no sé que vieron, pero recuerdo que una de ellas me dijo con una taza de ☕ en la mano en su oficina:
-En todo Cienfuegos, Ian, el único que tiene carisma y puede llegarle de alguna manera a los jóvenes, creemos que eres tú.
Yo todavía hoy no me lo creo, pero gracias a ése libro, lo sigo intentando.
