These days I am doing something a bit crazy with Polymarket. I am trying to push my trading volume as much as I can, not because I think I will become some super trader, but because maybe there will be an airdrop in the future. Nobody knows for sure, but the rumors are everywhere, and honestly it makes you think that maybe it is worth trying.
My goal is simple. I want to create activity without destroying my balance. I already assume I might lose money, and weirdly that makes it easier. When you accept the loss before it comes, you stop stressing so much. I am not trying to get rich with the trades themselves. I am trying to survive long enough to be counted if the airdrop happens one day.
So I go in and out of markets, always trying to choose the ones where the risk feels a bit softer. Sometimes I make a tiny gain, sometimes I lose one. The idea is not to hit big wins, but to keep the damage small. It feels like walking on ice that is strong enough for a while but can crack at any moment. You move slowly, with respect, and hope the rewards later will make the effort worth it.
I check my volume number more than I check my profits. It feels strange, almost upside down, because normally you trade to make money. Now I trade to not lose too much. Every little increase in volume feels like progress. Like climbing a hill one small step at a time. Even if the money moves down sometimes, the volume keeps going up. And that gives a weird kind of motivation.

People outside crypto would probably say I am wasting my time. Maybe they are right. But in this space, we have seen so many times that early users get rewarded in unexpected ways. It is part of the game. Sometimes you try something that looks silly today but becomes a good surprise tomorrow.
If the airdrop never comes, I will say it was an experiment. If it comes, even a small one, it will feel like the late reward of many tiny risky steps. And honestly, that is enough reason for me to keep going a little more.
