Fungifriday - dead man's fingers mushroom

in FungiFriday11 days ago

This is my contribution to #FungiFriday by @ewkaw

In a quiet and damp corner of the forest due to being drenched by heavy rain last night, my eyes accidentally glanced at the figure of a tiny and mysterious creature sitting sweetly on a tree that was starting to rot. I immediately approached the tree to make sure who the tiny, mysterious figure was. When I arrived near the tree, my feelings were mixed between amazement and goosebumps.

He didn't move, let alone speak, but his appearance made anyone who saw him shudder. At first glance it looked ordinary, but if we stop for a moment and observe it, his appearance was truly beyond expectations. The small mushroom looked very much like a dead man's fingers. Luckily the mushroom was very small. If it were big, I would have left that place in a flash. Even that small thing made my hair stand on end, let alone if it were big, I couldn't imagine it.

Try to look closely at the picture of the mushroom that I attached, do you also shudder like the first time I saw it or does it look ordinary. The shape really does resemble a dead man's fingers, some are fat, curved and even some are slender with pointed tips, resembling flexible fingers. The base is black, the middle is gray mixed with brown and the tip is white. This mushroom is indeed very extraordinary.
