On a quiet morning and the sun began to shine softly, I saw the workers in the park were very busy. Some were working, some were just sunbathing and some were just flying here and there showing off their beauty. Free entertainment that must be watched when you are near the flower garden. They move very agilely, especially those who are showing off their beauty. Because I was so busy watching the activities they were doing, I almost forgot to turn on the camera. Their charm really hypnotized me today.
Among the many workers there, only the common sailor was willing to be my model today. He was enjoying the nectar on the euphorbia flower while sunbathing. Many other insects do similar activities, but on average they never stay in one place. On average, they suck nectar at super sharp speeds. The speed they do is about two seconds per flower. Although they were not willing to be my models, I was very entertained by their behavior.
Okay, let's get back to the main topic, namely the common sailor butterfly. This butterfly is medium in size, brownish black in color decorated with a unique white pattern. The pattern is in the form of dots that merge together and are located horizontally. The pattern is very distinctive, firm and symmetrical, successfully making the appearance of the butterfly more charming. Added to that, its calm demeanor is truly perfect. In Latin, this butterfly is known as Neptis hylas which comes from the Nymphalidae family. That's all for today, see you in the next observation.
