I don't see many people in your photos, but maybe you just avoided taking photos with them... It would be a pity that such a beautiful place isn't more visited by locals and tourists... If you ask me, these kinds of places are my favorites! A lot of nature, peaceful surroundings, and a lot of history among those trees and walls!

Currently, I live in a part of Spain where we have many old mills that were used for making tobacco paper, which was then exported to Cuba, and probably South America too!

I also love this kind of place because of the lovely atmosphere surrounded by nature. I actually went very early on Sunday and we were the first to arrive, but more people come later. And on school days, there are frequent activities with the schoolchildren where they teach them about caring for the environment.
It's interesting what you say about the windmills where you live; our countries have a very close relationship.
