Today, Thursday, was a day of repair work on the pipes on the street leading to our house.
The job wasn't complicated. But after doing it, I found out that we could have saved on the pipe we had bought if we had known that one of the neighbors on the street had collected the original pipe that was there. And that old pipe was still in good enough condition to use.
What had failed was the pipe connection… that means we overspent… and considering we're a little short on money at home, that's something that made me feel stupid.
Anyway, I'm not going to dwell on that point; after all, the expense was already incurred and the replacements were installed. We have to wait until tomorrow to check everything and wait until they send the water to see if the work needs any adjustments.
Anyway. It's almost midnight, and since I was distracted by several things, I had put off keeping track of the day for a long time. That's all for today. I say goodbye, hoping you're well and that we'll see each other again soon.

Hoy, jueves, fue un día de trabajos de reparación en las tuberías de la calle que va a casa.
El trabajo no fue complicado, pero luego de haberlo hecho, me entero de que el tubo que habíamos comprado nos lo habríamos podido ahorrar si hubiéramos sabido que uno de los vecinos de la calle había recogido el tubo original que estaba allí, y ese tubo estaba aún en buen estado para usarlo.
Lo que había fallado era la conexión de la tubería… eso quiere decir que hicimos un gasto en exceso… y contando que estamos en casa un poco cortos de dinero, eso es algo que me hizo sentir estúpido.
En fin, no me voy a anclar en ese punto, después de todo, ya el gasto fue hecho y colocamos los repuestos. Hay que esperar a mañana para revisar todo y esperar hasta que manden agua para saber si el trabajo necesita algún ajuste.
Como sea. Es casi media noche, y como yo estaba distraído con varias cosas, había retrasado mucho hacer un registro del día. Ya es todo por hoy, me despido, deseándote que tú estés bien y que nos volvamos a leer pronto.
