Greetings, everyone!

I welcome all the ladies to the second half of the year in Jesus' name.

What is one thing you’ve unlearned in the first half of the year that improved your life? It could be a habit, a mindset, or a direction you were heading in. If you haven’t unlearned anything, what is one thing you learned during this time that has made your life better?

I have learned so much in the first half of the year, that has transformed my mindset and my direction towards where I am going in life. What I have learned is in the area of relationships. I learned that God's will is not in the name of the person or the picture you have seen in your dream. It is not at all. And God doesn't have a particular man or woman for you, so it must be this one. It doesn't work that way.

For you to know the kind of spouse you want to settle down with, you must know God. Your husband is in God. When you see God, you will see the kind of man you should marry. Always have the right mindset of, "you will marry the right person," not fixating your mind on a particular guy. It can lead to failure and mess up your life in the future.

And another thing, while in your waiting season, is that you need to be whole. Know your purpose, change your character, work on yourself so that you fit in well with the person who is coming to you. Learn a skill and build your relationship with God. By doing this, wisdom will come, and you will know or discern the right kind of person who is meant to partner with you in this journey of life.

The first of the year has taught me a lot about relationships and marriage. Things were unveiling that I didn't know and I got to do something about it immediately to avoid mistakes that touch the heart.

As a lady, don't let love blind your eyes completely. Love but keep your spirit open and be discerning to know what is right or wrong. Don't let love blind you to the point where you can't say no to certain things or a character. As you are in a relationship, watch and pray especially for repeated behavioral patterns. If it is not healthy, end it, so it won't become worse in marriage.
