Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
For as long as I can remember, I have always found solace in the comfort of my home; maybe it's because I have always been an introverted person. This doesn't mean I don't enjoy going out; as a matter of fact, I do enjoy spending quality time with friends and family during outings or gatherings.
However, when given the choice, I would often opt to stay indoors, either reading a good book, surfing the Internet, cooking, watching movies sometimes, or just doing anything.

And becoming a mother has only amplified my preference for staying at home more. With the additional responsibility that has been added to me by caring for my kids, I have to plan and calculate my every outing. I mostimes unconsciously find myself weighing the pros and cons of leaving the house with kids, I put into consideration factors like things I have to carry out like feeding times, clothing for their changeover in case they get themselves dirty, and the potential for tantrums.
Don't get me wrong. It's not like I don't value social interactions or enjoy going to new places. It's just that, as a mom, I need to be really sure that the outing is worth it. This also means that any last-minute invitations often take a backseat.
I have gotten questions from some people sometimes, like, Don't I get bored staying at home?
There is just a lot for me to do at home that boredom is so far from me. Taking care of kids alone keeps me busy the whole day. Apart from taking care of my kids, just like I mentioned earlier, there are a lot of things I do while at home that keep me busy.
I have found contentment in my quiet, everyday moments while staying indoors.
THANK YOU FOR READING TO THE END 🤗
