Friendlymoose Photography contest: SYMMETRY. Plaza Caracas - Venezuela. EN/ESP

First of all, warm greetings to the community. Today is the first time I participate in this contest, and I do it with an image of Caracas Square.

Recently, I went out to buy some spare parts for a team in the city center, and as I always do, before I went home I took some pictures and among them I took this one of Caracas Square and decided to use it in this contest, because the square is surrounded by the towers of the Simon Bolivar Center.

These towers, between the 50s and 70s, were a referential framework of architecture in the capital of Venezuela. Nowadays, ministries work in these towers and there are offices of public institutions, on the side that I show in this photo, which is that of Plaza Caracas.

On the other side of the Simon Bolivar Center is the Diego Ibarra Square, the National Electoral College building and, in front, the offices of the National Assembly and the Bolivian Museum.

Also, both in the external corridors and in the corridors of the first level, there are several shops and works of art, placed on tiles on the walls that decorate the corridors.

That's why I chose this image to present it in this contest about symmetry, promoted by Friendlymoose.

The image was taken with an Infinix Hot 50i phone,

and I place it in color and in black and white, since both have a different hue.

Antes que nada, cordiales saludos a la comunidad. Hoy es la primera vez que participo en este concurso, y lo hago con una imagen de la Plaza Caracas.

Hace poco, salí a comprar unos repuestos para un equipo en el centro de la ciudad, y como siempre hago, antes de irme a la casa tomé algunas imágenes y entre ellas tomé esta de la Plaza Caracas y decidí usarla en este concurso, debido a que la plaza está rodeada por las torres del Centro Simón Bolívar.

Estas torres, entre los años 50 y 70, fueron un marco referencial de la arquitectura en la capital de Venezuela. Hoy en día, en estas torres funcionan ministerios y hay oficinas de instituciones públicas, por el lado que muestro en esta foto, que es el de la Plaza Caracas.

Del otro lado del Centro Simón Bolívar está la Plaza Diego Ibarra, el edificio del Colegio Nacional Electoral y, al frente, las oficinas de la Asamblea Nacional y el Museo Boliviano.

También, tanto en los pasillos externos como en los pasillos del primer nivel, hay varios comercios y obras de arte, colocadas en azulejos en las paredes que decoran los pasillos.

Por eso escogí esta imagen para presentarla en este concurso sobre la simetría, que promueve Friendlymoose.

La imagen la tomé con un teléfono Infinix Hot 50i, y la coloco a color y en blanco y negro, dado que ambas tienen un matiz diferente.
