How I use unripe pawpaw to treat jaundice in my new born baby
Neonatal jaundice is the yellowing of a newborn's baby skin and eyes due to high levels of bilirubin in the blood.
It happens because a newborn's liver is still developing and cannot process bilirubin efficiently, a condition that usually resolves on its own within a few weeks with frequent feeding. Treatment for more severe cases may involve phototherapy, in medical ways but in nature ways we can use unripe pawpaw and early morning sun( vitamin D)
Causes and symptoms
Cause: After birth, a baby's body breaks down old red blood cells, creating a yellow pigment called bilirubin. A newborn's immature liver has trouble filtering this bilirubin, causing it to build up in the blood and skin. And moreso when a baby eye is reflecting of a yellowish colour it affect and appear to the eye as nature and traditional believe
Main symptom: Yellowing of the skin and the eyes. This can be harder to see on darker skin tones, so it may be more visible on the palms of the hands,Eye brown area and soles of the feet.
Other symptoms: In addition to yellowing, symptoms can include excessive sleepiness, poor feeding, and irritability. In severe cases, other signs include a high-pitched cry, lethargy, and pauses in breathing.
TREATMENT
Mild jaundice: Often requires no treatment other than frequent feeding (10-12 times a day) to help the baby pass the excess bilirubin through bowel movements. It typically clears up within 1-2 weeks as the liver matures.
Moderate to severe jaundice: May require phototherapy, a treatment where the baby is exposed to special lights that change the bilirubin in the skin into a less harmful chemical.
High bilirubin levels can lead to serious complications like deafness or cerebral palsy if left untreated, so prompt attention is crucial for severe cases.
METHOD AND PROCESS OF USING UNRIPE PAWPAW
*Firstly get you pawpaw (old to eat but not ripe)
*Wash it(Apply a clean procedure)
*peel the back
*cut into small pieces
*put in a clean container that have cover
*pure a clean water(table water is advise)cover for 24hours
*Then you can administer it after 24hours 1mls or a baby tea spoon 3 times daily
*put your baby in early morning sun(vitamin D)
*change the pawpaw every 3days.
