The Worries I Keep Quiet… and the Flavor I Never Get Tired Of

Hello dear @ladiesofhive community
What feelings are the hardest for me to express?
If I had to choose one, I would say worry.
Not because I don't feel it, but because I usually keep it to myself.
When something affects my family or someone I love, my first instinct is to try to solve it before talking about it. I have always been the kind of person who prefers to listen rather than speak, and many times I convince myself that there is no point in worrying others if I can handle things on my own.
Of course, life has taught me that this is not always the best way.
Keeping everything inside can become exhausting.
Over the years I have learned that sharing what worries me with someone I trust does not make me weak. On the contrary, it often makes the burden feel lighter.
I still find it difficult.
Sometimes I start a sentence and then change the subject.
Other times I simply say, "Everything is fine," even when it isn't.
But little by little I am learning that those who love us also want the opportunity to support us, just as we support them.
What meal could I eat for the rest of my life?
Without a doubt, Cuban ajiaco.
I have always loved it, and if it includes fresh corn, even better.
When the corn cooks slowly, the broth becomes thicker, almost like a stew, and for me that makes it even more delicious.
I like that it brings together so many simple ingredients that, together, create something special.
Every family has its own way of preparing it, and perhaps that is part of its charm.
It is one of those meals that immediately reminds me of family gatherings, conversations around the table, and the comforting feeling of home.
There are many dishes I enjoy, but if someone told me I could only choose one for the rest of my life, I would not hesitate.
For me, a good Cuban ajiaco is much more than food.
It is tradition, memories, and affection served in a bowl.
These two questions reminded me that some things are easier to keep inside than to say aloud, while others only need one spoonful to bring back wonderful memories.

Hola querida comunidad @ladiesofhive
Todavía me cuesta.
