A Nature-Packed Adventure for the Kids at Omu Resort

My kids and their mates had an educational adventure at Omu Resort. It was filled with loads of nice memories, and I am happy they had a lot to say about the tour. Omu Resort is nature-filled. I was there with my Hive friends sometimes in January this year when we had our first physical meet-up. What I experienced was quite awesome, and when my kids' school informed us parents about taking the children to the same resort, I didn't hesitate to pay for them, although it was made optional, but the value was my driving force.

The tour...

They began with learning about the wild animals at the resort. According to my kids, they saw live most of the wild animals they have been seeing on television and reading about in books. That made them happy. Each animal they saw came with a description in detail by the tour guide and their teachers. The likenesses of crocodiles, hyenas, zebras, alligators, monkeys, snakes, lions, horses , donkeys, giraffes, peacocks, ostriches, tortoises, etc., were available for them to see, explore, and learn.

Going further , there were lots of game activities they engaged with, such as the train ride, pendulum ride, and others. Although some kids were scared of riding the pendulum ride, most of them had fun with it and with close monitoring and assistance.

The best part of the fun they had over there was swimming, according to my kids , hehehe. Of course children love the splash of water, and they didn't hesitate to mimic fishes in water, lol. After other kinds of games, they all changed to their swimming pants as they packed all necessary swimming materials from home. It was fun, and they didn't want it to end any time soon. I was thinking that my son of 4 years wouldn't do well with anything water, based on my past experience with him at the beach, but he loved it over there. I was calling the teacher from time to time to see that he could participate, but I was told that the way he was mingling with his peers was something unusual. What other way of building social connections?

Sometimes, it's good for the kids to experience other activities aside from classroom engagements. For most of the kids, this trip was their first time seeing such wildlife live, and it made learning more interesting. They were curious and were asking some smart questions, according to my son's teacher. What an adventure!

Aside from the fun, it was also an opportunity for the kids to bond and connect more outside the school environment. Even their teachers relaxed a bit and calmed their nerves from the stress that usually comes from the classroom. Parents were made to come pick up the kids at the school after the trip. There, we parents connected again, took out time to chat , relax, and just be alright. It's a win-win for all , hehe. Now my kids are asking the date for another trip to Omu Resort, this time for a family day out kind of thing. It's going to be a date.
