Okay, so here's the thing about admiring something another person have or do effortlessly... it's way easier than actually applying them in your own life. The reality is that, you know those people who just have it in them... it's something they were born with. The ones who make certain traits look so easy and effortless, that you wish you have it as well... you see yourself daydreaming and wishing you were them.
This is so me... I've got a whole lot of qualities that I admire a lot but no matter how hard I try to adopt them in my own life, it refuse to stick and a lot of time feels like i'm impersonating someone else and i'm not being myself.
Effortless confidence is one of those traits that I wish i have... I'm not going to call myself a shy type... but I'm definitely not someone that would say I have that effortless confidence. When i talk about effortless confidence, i dont mean the loud ones or ones that always wants to be noticed... but the quiet one that has that aura that when they walk into a room, they command respect and attention without even trying.
When I see people or friends exude these traits, I sit back and admire and wish I have it in me. I quite a confident person especially when it comes to meeting people and addressing a group of people, but sometimes it doesnt feel natural and feels forced.
The good thing is that, it's something I can work on to become better at... I've bought quite a number of books about leadership to polish up my confidence and leadership skills. I also watch a lot of videos about leadership and confidence building... because I know the immense benefit being effortlessly confident can be especially for someone who owns and runs a business.
However, the main challenge i face when trying to be more confident is just mentally... it is so difficult to build that mental toughness. but i know that it is something i'm working on on a daily basis and i know that with more practice, I would definitely get there.
My Weird Little Collection Obsession
When it comes to collecting objects, I wouldnt call myself a collector. For me, one of the items i abosolutely love to collect is video games and music cassette of the 90s... It brings back fun memories of how I used to cherish my childhood days playing games on my sega mega drive 2 console and listining to my favorite music on my small music player.
One of my best games on the sega maga drive 2 console was the mortal kombat, sonic, sunset riders, super mario, Micheal Jackson, Rambo, wresling, football games and more and for my best songs, i have a whole lot that if i start to list them here, it would be too long to fit into this post. Writing about these things is already bringing a smile on my face :D...
So, for me, I would say collecting video games of the 90s and music cassette is definitely one of the things i love to do if i have the time to collect them. It's something that brings so much fun memories to me and nostalgia.
