Free Drawings for Earth Day

Hello, I share with you some of the illustrations I made for Earth Day, which I will share on Pixabay so they are available for free use. I am very interested in the idea that, despite my basic drawing level, I can share my small works with the world, and who knows if perhaps my drawing of a smiling planet ends up supporting some science class in a school that doesn't have enough resources to buy images from higher-quality stock banks. Additionally, I believe that leaving these resources, even if their level is basic and not neatly finished, helps raise awareness about image copyright, since people will not feel the need to acquire images illegally, as they will have various images available freely and legally. There are not many pretensions behind these images; they are drawings I make in my Ibis Paint with ads, but at least they don't just take up space on my storage. So I share them here, on my blog, and on Pixabay. Feel free to use and modify them.
Hola, les comparto algunas de las ilustraciones que realicé para el Día de la Tierra, que compartiré en Pixabay para que estén disponibles para uso gratuito. Me interesa mucho la idea de que, a pesar de mi nivel básico en el dibujo, pueda compartir mis pequeñas obras con el mundo y quién sabe si quizás mi dibujo de un planeta sonriente termine apoyando alguna clase de ciencias en una escuela que no tiene suficientes recursos para comprar imágenes a bancos de mayor calidad. Además, creo que dejar estos recursos, aunque su nivel sea básico y no tenga el acabado prolijo, ayuda a fomentar conciencia sobre el derecho de autor de las imágenes, ya que las personas no se verán en la necesidad de adquirir de forma ilegal imágenes, pues tendrán disponibles varias imágenes de forma libre y legal. No hay muchas pretensiones detrás de estas imágenes; son dibujos que hago en mi Ibis Paint con anuncio, pero al menos no se quedan simplemente ocupando espacio en mi almacenamiento. Así que los comparto aquí, en mi blog y en Pixabay. Siéntate libre de usarlos y modificarlos.

The first image I made was of this smiling planet. I also made several versions, both in png and as images with a background, in color and in black and white, seeking the greatest variety of uses for the same resource. I think this is a very useful image that many people might need.
La primera imagen que hice fue la de este planeta sonriente. Además, hice varias versiones tanto en png como en imágenes con fondo, a color y en blanco y negro, buscando la mayor variedad de usos de un mismo recurso. Creo que esta es una imagen muy útil y que muchos podrían necesitar.

For the next illustration, I wanted a piece that was simple but effective and represented beauty. I also wanted it to be very eye-catching and stand out with a unique style. So I decided to draw planet Earth surrounded by clouds and flowers. I wanted the style to be very solid, with extremely thick and exaggerated lines. Here’s how it turned out.
Para la siguiente ilustración, quería una lámina que fuera simple pero efectiva y representara la belleza. Además, quería que llamara mucho la atención y destacara con un estilo único. Decidí entonces dibujar al planeta Tierra rodeado de nubes y de flores; el estilo quería que fuera muy sólido y de líneas extremadamente gruesas y exageradas. Les comparto cómo quedó.

For the last drawing, I wanted to make a cartoon of a human devouring planet Earth as if it were a cookie, with an open mouth while dropping the planet into their jaws. I think it’s a very good representation of how we sometimes treat the planet, and we forget that although it is right to exploit it for our well-being, it must always be done with awareness and without endangering its balance. I think I should try to make more conceptual drawings like this one more often.
Para el último dibujo, quise hacer una caricatura de un humano devorando el planeta Tierra como si fuese una galleta, con la boca abierta mientras deja caer en sus fauces al planeta. Creo que es una muy buena representación de cómo a veces tratamos al planeta, y olvidamos que aunque es correcto explotarlo para nuestro bienestar, tiene que ser siempre con conciencia y sin poner en peligro su equilibrio. Creo que debería tratar de hacer más seguido dibujos conceptuales como este.
