Friends, the pruning work in the garden is almost complete. Today during my morning walk in the garden, I saw cannabis plants that are blooming on their own without any care.
Apart from this, another sign of change in weather caught my attention. Plum trees have started blooming before time. Usually their buds start blooming in the month of March but this year due to less snowfall and mild winter temperatures, they have started blooming before time. This change in weather pattern is something that I have been observing for the last few years. It seems that winters are getting shorter and warmer. Although the premature blooming may look beautiful, but it raises concerns about possible cold damage if the temperature drops unexpectedly in the coming weeks.
As the day passed, I followed my routine of spending time with my chickens in the evening. It is a peaceful experience to watch them roaming around the courtyard. What makes this moment even more special is that other birds are also involved in it. Pigeons in particular have become regular visitors. They sit on the roof waiting for their turn to peck at the leftover grains.
