The shield beetle is green with black dots and two antennae on its head. It's called the shield beetle because its back resembles a shield.The characteristic of the shield beetle is the black dots on its body, although there are also shield beetles with red or orange colors, but the black dots on the shield are their characteristic.

Having two wings for flight, these beetles usually reside on tree branches or leaves. They also eat other small insects and suck plant sap.
