I found the textures and colors of this flower very interesting. The first shot is a softer one with a more shallow depth of field. Then I thought that this flower has some very distinct details, so I might try to get something around an f/1 to f/14 and see if I can go sharper. I also used my pop-up flash to help and was able to capture the bristly look of this. It reminded me almost of a Scotch-Brite pad used for scouring pots and pans.
