Not That Girl Anymore

✨"I have started feeling comfortable in my skin. I take pride in my appearance. I am happier about myself. I dress better, eat better, and care for myself better. I am calmer and softer now. And I love the effect. I get more compliments from friends, acquaintances and strangers alike. I feel prettier. I have stopped beating myself up when I make mistakes. Mistakes help me grow and become better. I have become less judgey. " @terjix
Unburdened

✨" I have experienced a lot of things that made me realize that I have held on to some things for too long. I’m very sure I might have mentioned a few here before, but I’m just going to say one of them again. I have always seen myself as someone who wasn’t good when it comes to academic work. I was always lagging, and for some reason, I held on to that thought for a long time, more than I can even remember. " @hopestylist
Joy in the Everyday

✨"I find joy in admiring the beauties of the world, from blossoming flowers to well-designed animals. I love seeing the cute smile of a baby and their innocent reactions to the world. I love the calming sound of the wind, I love the sea, and the sky. " @madilyn02
Three Doses of Happiness

✨"You get to realize that the things that bring you exhilaration are the very little things around you. And although you can’t buy them with money or can’t hold them, trust me, they are priceless. Now, if there’s something I know about priceless things, they are to be cherished forever, and that’s exactly what we should be doing. Look at me smiling so hard after writing this. Alright, I’m getting shy; I’m leaving." @abenad
Kiss #155: Sanctuaries

✨"There are many things that bring me a lot of joy, like eating a delicious meal, drinking a cold beer, reading a good book, writing, drawing, being with my friends, having time for myself, sleeping, dancing, listening to music, watching a good movie, being with my family, receiving a tight hug from a loved one, falling in love, getting dressed up, dressing up for a special occasion, receiving and giving gifts, seeing a sunrise, a sunset, making people laugh, listening to a child's laughter. " @nancybriti1
Beyond Material Things...

✨"My personal growth also keeps me going, not because life is perfect, but because I’m not the same person I used to be. I appreciate growth generally, whether it’s mine or not, so when it’s about me, it’s extra special. And I mean growth in every ramification of my life—my spiritual life, lifestyle, achieving goals, and others—not piling up material things." @george-dee
Feeding my Book Obsession

✨"When the average person thinks of extravagance, what comes to mind is probably spending money on junk food, jewelry, or even cars. Things that aren’t necessarily needed. But for me, the one thing that I can buy at the drop of a hat, no questions asked, is books!" @zitalove
A Pinch of Extravagance in Simplicity

✨"I placed an order for just 6 books recently, and I said to myself that I needed to take a break from the lifestyle of getting books regularly because I do not have the finances to keep up with that extravagant spending. Yes, I love books and I wouldn’t mind owning a library in my house, but then my bank account says otherwise." @beeeee
Recognising that Gap

✨"It’s a bad habit, and I know for a fact that I have to do something about it. I’m still yet to completely make up my mind to buy some textbooks related to my course, but I’m glad my supervisor has made me see more reasons why it is a necessity to have at least one textbook. Besides school books, I don’t even have any other books except notebooks where I write. When I see how much people spend daily on books, I admire them and not until recently, I never really cared about it, but now, I feel I have to wake up from my slumber, lol." @hopestylist
